New Typography Tool!

April 3, 2007 – 10:50 pm| By admin

I just found out that the tool i’ve wished was out for PC (it was previously Mac only) was finally released in public beta for PC. Linotype FontExplorerX.

Now i’ve wanted a tool like this for so long now. I hate how in Photoshop you see all your fonts listed in a generic font giving you no idication of how they may look for a given logo or typesetting. This little tool helps out with that. In a interface very much like iTunes, you can type in the desired text, and scroll through your available fonts and see what the text will look like. I’m gonna be loving this one, i can tell.
